Individual and Couples Therapy
Individual and Couples Therapy is typically short-term, with ongoing therapy averaging around six sessions. Students can use this service to address a wide variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions.
For couples therapy, any type of couple may be seen—romantic partners, friends, or family members—and the second person does not need to be an SRJC student. Therapy sessions provide a safe, confidential space to explore emotions, improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.
Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, coping strategies, or relational improvements, our team is here to help you navigate challenges and develop practical skills.
Appointments and What to Expect
Appointments are made with therapists from Student Psychological Services, part of Student Health Services. During your first session, the therapist will get to know you, discuss your goals, and collaboratively create a plan for short-term therapy. Sessions are confidential and tailored to each student’s needs.
