Rebecca Miah, MPH, is a therapist at Student Psychological Services. She is in her 3rd year of a doctoral program in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She has her Master’s in Public Health from Emory University and has professional experience working in bioterrorism, climate change, and disaster resilience and recovery. Her clinical interests include cultural and identity issues, challenges related to being a first-generation college student, as well as intergenerational conflict. She has worked with various clinical populations, from elderly individuals to formerly incarcerated persons facing challenges related to loneliness, depression and hopelessness, as well as financial and housing insecurity. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog and cat (who get along like siblings/rivals).
