Cynthia "Cindy" Dickinson is a Nurse Practitioner who provides medical services at SRJC Petaluma. Cindy has been an active member of the health care community in Sonoma County for three decades, with a personal commitment to increase and improve health services for low income, un-insured, and other disenfranchised groups.

Cindy completed both BSN, Family Nurse Practitioner and Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration at Sonoma State University in 1982 and 1992 respectively. 

Sonoma County has a strong network of community-based organizations that provide enormous support to the students of SRJC and their families.  With the aim of helping students achieve their visions and goals, Cindy works with the Student Health Services team to partner with those groups, including Redwood Empire Food Bank, Positive Images, Redwood Coalition of Health Centers, Petaluma Health Center, Santa Rosa Community Health Centers.   

She has particular interests and experience in the areas of nutrition, exercise, adjuvant therapies, addiction recovery, unintended pregnancy prevention, and sexual assault prevention/intervention.
