Ashli Perkins, M.A., is a therapist at Student Psychological Services. She is in her 3rd year of a doctoral program in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She has her Master’s in Global Health from UC San Diego and has professional experience working in education, health care research, and health care administration. Her clinical interests include Black mental health, navigating being a first-generation college student, religion and spirituality in psychotherapy as well as maternal mental health. She has worked with various clinical populations, from veterans and college students at another academic institution in addition to healthcare workers facing challenges related to relationship stressors, friendship and parenthood, as well as basic needs insecurity. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs and watching action movies.
