(SRJC Student Health Centers provide a handful of reproductive health services during their regular clinic hours. These include pregnancy tests, emergency contraception, contraceptive counseling and condoms.)

SRJC Student Health Services Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are currently available to assist you in many ways:

NPs can offer phone advice or Telelhealth Secure Zoom appointments.

NPs can order Emergency Contraception (Plan B), re-order birth control, order lab work for possible Sexually Transmitted Infection exposure, medicines for STIs or vaginal infections, treat urinary tract infections and counsel you as to the next best step. If they can’t help you, they know the local resources that can help you.

Of note- Emergency contraception is covered by FPACT and most insurances.   You can also get it directly from the pharmacy without an order.  It costs $39-55 if you don’t have insurance.

Call 707-527-4445 for phone advice or ZOOM appointment.

Eligibility and Insurance

The full reproductive health services clinics accept both Medi-Cal and insurance for payment. For students without insurance, or if they are concerned about confidentiality related to insurance charges, the Family PACT program is available. Family PACT is a state program that fully covers comprehensive family planning services for eligible men and women. Reproductive clinic staff can sign you up for the program at the time of service. You will receive a green plastic card that can be used at pharmacies, laboratories and other clinics for reproductive health care. Learn more about Family PACT eligibility or coverage.

How to Schedule a Clinical Appointment

Calling for an appointment with a Nurse Practitioner ahead of time is always preferred, though same-day and walk-in appointments are sometimes available as well. Walk-in appointments may be available for same day services, but availability is not guaranteed.
